"As long as you look for someone else to validate who you are by seeking their approval, you are setting yourself up for disaster. You have to be whole and complete in yourself. No one can give you that. You have to know who you are - what others say is irrelevant."

Can everyone just be like Dylan?

Can a capable hacker reply to this tragedy by posting unflattering nudes and outing all the personal info of every cis male to ever exist ever or would that be a bad idea because I’m pretty sure the mass vagina owning murders would start then.

Sure, the women in the pictures look casual and happy and relaxed so people accessing and viewing them probably don’t care, or don’t want to take the effort to understand that the people in those pictures feel pretty horrified and violated by the fact that someone would actively choose to do this to them. Im not even in their place and and I feel personally scared, exposed and sad that so many people remain inactive as passive participates. I mean yeah the girls are pretty but something about the understanding of how seriously sad all these girls are is a massive turn off. The problem is not people choosing to take naked selfies, or people who choose to send naked selfies to individuals they feel safe sending it to or people trusting a private platform with their content. Its people who see no problem with completely disregarding the right to consent. Not just the people who do the hacking, but the people who don’t see this event as a problem. Its just not cool. Y’all motherfuckers is just messed up.

Re: your "rule about naked people" -- How about people who take nude photos of themselves not be stupid and use storage devices that can be hacked, like cloud storage (or take any risks close to that)? Just HOW much personal responsibility does your generation need to shed before you get it through your thick skulls that it only costs $20 for a decent external hard drive these days? :|
